The size of the island is reflected in the number of food trucks on the island, but what the island lacks in quantity is certainly made up for in quality!

Check out our list for a selection of amazing food trucks (and street vendors) which offer mouthwatering dishes guaranteed to keep you coming back – time and time again!

1.    Curbside Café

One of the most popular food trucks on the island, ‘Curbside Café’s’ food is just as dynamic and colourful as the exterior of its truck.  Featuring a Mexican-American inspired menu, ‘Curbside Café’ offers delicious meals such as Pasta Bowls, Tacos, Burritos and even delicious homemade burgers!

There is a reason why this is so popular amongst the locals – it definitely has “curbside appeal”!

2.    Hot Legendary Fish Cakes

This food stall serves up a deliciously popular Barbadian delicacy – ‘fish cakes’!

But, what is a “fish cake”?

A ‘fish cake’ is a mouth-watering ball made with codfish (or even whitefish), flour and other seasonings. Oh so simple, oh so delicious!

Tip: For those who aren’t faint of heart, add some “Bajan hot pepper sauce” to add a little kick to your fish cakes. You can also sandwich your fishcakes in a Bajan “salt bread”, which is affectionately known as a “bread and two”.
